The Department of Physiology and Biophysics in the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position at the Research Assistant Professor level. This position will support ongoing and emerging research in adipose tissue biology, aging, and immunometabolism in the Jiang Lab. The successful candidate will lead independent research projects focused on beige adipocyte biology, metabolic regulation, and the intersection of immunity and energy homeostasis. Responsibilities include: Minimum Qualifications Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in physiology, biochemistry, molecular/cell biology, or a related field, with postdoctoral research experience and a strong track record of publications in adipose biology or metabolic disease. Demonstrated ability to lead projects, secure funding, and collaborate across disciplines is required.
