Summary

The Field Marketing & Event Manager is responsible for planning and executing regional marketing programs and events that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth. This role partners closely with sales, demand generation, and brand teams to design and deliver field programs-including industry events, conferences, partner activations, and customer experiences-that align with business goals and regional needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute field marketing initiatives such as trade shows, customer events, roadshows, executive dinners, and partner co-marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate with sales to understand regional priorities and tailor programs that support lead generation and pipeline acceleration.

  • Manage all aspects of event logistics including budgeting, vendor coordination, booth design, promotional materials, and staffing.

  • Own event and field program performance metrics; analyze ROI and optimize based on results.

  • Support lead capture and follow-up processes to ensure alignment with marketing automation and CRM systems.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with sales, product marketing, partner teams, and external vendors.

  • Represent the brand consistently across all field marketing touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 10+ years demonstrated experience in field marketing, event planning, or experiential marketing-preferably in B2B or tech environments.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines.

  • Experience working closely with sales teams and understanding sales-driven goals.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to learn new computer systems.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail oriented and enthusiasm for learning.

  • Demonstrated and creative strength in PowerPoint and visual/graphic design, animation and video a plus.
