Daikin Applied is seeking a Corporate QMS (Quality Management Systems) Coordinator! The Corporate Quality Management System Coordinator is responsible for the overall DAA Quality Management System and ISO 9001 Certifications. This role involves developing and maintaining quality processes, conducting audits, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication, team building and problem-solving skills, with a passion for quality and fostering excellence. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN
What you will do:


  • Develop and implement Quality Management Systems: Create and enforce quality control procedures and policies, establish benchmarks, and track initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Conduct Quality Reviews and Audits: Perform regular audits, inspections, and tests to evaluate existing quality systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Training and Development: Educate employees on ISO requirements, quality tools, quality standards and best practices through training
  • Assists the Site Quality Leadership in maintaining ISO 9001 Certification
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze performance data, compile test data, and prepare reports. Collaborate with teams to identify and address issues, developing action plans
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain documentation systems and documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality control records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Problem Solving and Corrective Action: Investigate and resolve complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions
  • Lead Kaizen events
  • Work with various departments and DAA manufacturing sites to promote a cohesive approach to quality processes and addressing quality issues
  • Manage the integration of quality systems and ISO certification of M&A/New business units

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ of previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Knowledge and Skills:



  • Quality-related certification such as CQA, CQE, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $148,800 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
