Daikin Applied is seeking a Director - Digital Supply Chain! This key role will will lead the digital sourcing transformation within the Digital (IT) organization, driving innovation, agility, and efficiency across procurement and supplier collaboration. This role is central to enabling Daikin's product-centric transformation by digitizing sourcing processes, integrating advanced technologies, and aligning with enterprise-wide digital initiatives. This leader will manage a team of Product Managers for Procurement/Sourcing, responsible for delivering scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance sourcing performance and supplier engagement. What you will do:


  • Define and execute the digital sourcing strategy aligned with Daikin's transformation goals and product-centric operating model
  • Lead and mentor product managers in developing and delivering sourcing solutions that meet business needs and drive measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Digital) to ensure sourcing products are integrated and aligned with enterprise platforms
  • Oversee the deployment and optimization of sourcing technologies including:


    • Coupa for Indirect Procurement, LeanDNA for supplier forecast sharing
    • ERP systems (Oracle, SAP B1, SAP S4/HANA) for Direct Procurement
    • Analytics platforms for actionable insights and decision support


  • Drive automation, digitization, and integration across sourcing workflows and supplier interfaces
  • Enhance supplier collaboration through digital platforms and data transparency
  • Implement tools and processes that support supplier innovation, performance tracking, and risk mitigation
  • Build and scale analytics capabilities to support strategic sourcing decisions
  • Leverage predictive analytics, market intelligence, and real-time data to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and user-centric design
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of digital sourcing solutions across the enterprise

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on digital transformation
  • Proven experience managing product teams and delivering digital solutions in a global manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing technologies, ERP systems, and analytics platforms
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working within a Digital (IT) organization and driving cross-functional digital initiatives

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,800 - 188,300 + 20% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
