Daikin Applied is seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Product Owner - Sourcing to drive the evolution of digital procurement solutions within our Digital Supply Chain Organization. This role will focus on enhancing procurement efficiency, compliance, and data transparency by leveraging Oracle ERP (EBS) and other procurement platforms and tools. This position will shape and deliver a product roadmap that supports cost optimization, supplier performance, and seamless purchasing operations across Daikin's business units. Location: Remote, Plymouth, MN
What you will do:


  • Serve as the product owner for digital procurement systems and tools, including Oracle ERP Procurement modules (e.g., Purchasing, iProcurement, Supplier Portal)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Procurement, Sourcing, AP, and Supply Chain Operations to understand needs, gather requirements, and prioritize enhancements
  • Define the product vision and roadmap to support digital procurement transformation and business objectives
  • Translate complex procurement workflows into actionable user stories and functional requirements; manage a prioritized product backlog
  • Partner with Oracle developers, architects, and third-party providers to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions
  • Drive automation, standardization, and compliance through system-driven workflows and digital best practices
  • Lead UAT cycles, system rollouts, and post-deployment optimization activities
  • Deliver user training, support change management efforts, and foster adoption across procurement teams
  • Monitor and analyze procurement system performance, usage trends, and key KPIs to guide continuous improvement
  • Stay informed about Oracle Procurement innovations, eProcurement solutions, and digital sourcing tools to proactively introduce new capabilities

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or ERP systems, with 2+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Systems Lead
  • Familiarity with digital procurement tools such as supplier portals, contract lifecycle management systems, or sourcing platforms
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across functional and technical teams
  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and lead digital transformation initiatives
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in discrete manufacturing or industrial products industry
  • Working knowledge of eProcurement best practices, supplier collaboration tools, or category management platforms
  • Oracle Cloud Procurement experience is a strong plus
  • Agile Product Owner certification or Oracle Procurement certifications preferred

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $148,800 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
