Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Sun Prairie, WI office locations. The contributions you will make: Provides leadership to the Lending Operations team who is responsible for delivering high quality client service to support the effective delivery of credit and financial products and services to current and prospective clients. You will directly and indirectly manage all team members within the assigned areas of responsibility and assist in the establishment and development of policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure Compeer provides strong client relationships that follow Compliance and FCA regulations. A typical day:
- Champions the brand; serves as a role-model for the vision, mission and values of the organization. Supports Compeer's strategic imperatives.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to define and achieve strategic business plans and business strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Communicates business expectations and goals to align with the organization's strategic direction, vision and objectives and is responsible for team's results and ensures alignment with business-specific strategies.
- Partners with peers and key stakeholders to establish and promote consistent, high-quality client service standards and guidelines across all client interactions.
- Selects, develops, motivates, coaches, evaluates, trains and rewards department team leaders. Assesses talent to determine responsibilities and optimizes team organization and capacity.
- Provides leadership to inspire and guide team leaders, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. Empowers teams to achieve organizational goals by promoting open communication, innovative thinking and strategic problem-solving.
- Stays informed on industry best practices to implement efficient processes that enhance team performance and organizational value. Fosters strong relationships across leadership to support collaborative models and strategic initiatives.
- Guides and empowers team leaders to collaborate across the organization to develop, maintain and improve loan systems, technology, policies, processes and procedures.
- Collaborates with team leaders to maintain a high standard of service quality across the Lending Operations teams, ensuring consistent and responsive client interactions.
- Represents the Lending Operations team when resource allocations or procedural changes are needed, ensuring team needs and efficiencies are prioritized.
- Oversees the resolution of audit items and implements corrective actions, monitoring the effectiveness of changes.
- Drives continuous process improvement within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency within the team.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Expert-level experience in lending, compliance and underwriting in a financial institution.
- Advanced-level of leadership and management experience.
- Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
- Knowledge of farming operations and agriculture, along with basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Leadership skills to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead remote team members.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in leading and managing change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Strong focus on client satisfaction and the ability to tailor services to meet diverse client needs.
- Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, make informed decisions and develop strategies for improvement.
- Ability to identify potential risks in operational processes and implement strategies to mitigate them.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay $103,100 - $156,400 USD
