Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Director, Digital Corporate Functions. The Director, Digital Corporate Functions is a strategic technology leader responsible for overseeing the digital platforms that support core corporate functions, including HR systems, Contract Lifecycle Management, and enterprise services. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Transformation and M&A, this role will own enterprise platforms that serve corporate functions. The Director will act as the business partner to HR, Legal, and other corporate function and take the persona of digital product manager and platform owner. You will also ensure stable, secure, and scalable digital operations while driving innovation, supporting integrations, and collaborating with HR, other corporate functions, and Digital partners to ensure the digital ecosystem delivers high value business outcomes. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do:



  • Serve as the accountable leader for:

    • Workday configuration, business processes, reporting, and access control in collaboration with HR and systems analysts
    • Release management for Workday HR systems
    • Prism integration
    • Workday Document Storage
    • HR Data ownership, in collaboration with HR SMEs
    • Contract Lifecycle management tools such as ContractPodAi, Docusign, Adobe Sign or similar
    • Lead the implementation and continued product maturity of HRIS and CLM tools


  • Partner with and provide oversight and delivery of:

    • Internal and external integrations, including Workday, ContractPodAi and other corp systems
    • Middleware and Internal SFTP support for secure and reliable data exchange
    • Mobile Device Management strategy and operational support
    • Network infrastructure services supporting HR and timekeeping systems
    • Time clock hardware, ensuring reliability and compatibility with HR systems


  • Manage the Enterprise Service Management platform for HR services and SLAs
  • Drive continuous improvement of the Workday Release Management process and coordination
  • Shape and deliver future-state capabilities through platforms like Workday Extend
  • Lead Tier 3 escalation resolution across HR and corporate function systems
  • Develop and execute roadmaps for emerging platforms (e.g., Contract Lifecycle Management)
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and other functional teams to support digital transformation needs beyond HR
  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and value realization from digital initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or other related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of hands on experience with human resources management, strategy, and corporate functions
  • 6+ years people leadership experience

  • Workday Platform Expertise - Demonstrates deep understanding of Workday core modules, integrations, security roles, release management, and Workday Extend; experienced in HRIS governance, platform optimization, and roadmapping
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance Orientation - Understands enterprise security frameworks and access control; knowledgeable of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA); works closely with InfoSec and legal teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Enterprise Service & Infrastructure Management - Experience with enterprise service platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and network, device, and hardware dependencies for HR and corporate systems, including time clocks and mobile management
  • Vendor & Platform Governance - Manages SaaS vendors, SLAs, and digital service performance; conducts platform evaluations and partners with procurement, IT, and legal to drive value and compliance
  • Change Leadership - Drives digital adoption and business readiness; supports stakeholder engagement, training strategies, and communications that accelerate user acceptance and minimize disruption
  • Interpersonal Skills - Builds strong partnerships; listens actively without interrupting; manages conflict constructively; remains open to feedback and new ideas

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 12+ years of hands on experience with human resources management, strategy, and corporate functions
  • 8+ years people leadership experience



Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $142,000 - $243,000 (+ 30-35% bonus) in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
