Your Opportunity

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Quality Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:



  • Defining the technical strategy for the qualification of new or existing products or processes, in cooperation with the component owners and fuel purchasing.
  • Organizing product and process qualifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the technical file, customers, and authorities for qualifications.
  • Intervening, when necessary, with suppliers to prepare or accompany qualifications, carry out technical surveys, or accompany on-site customer representatives.


This position requires up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.



Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $82,000 - $107,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
