The Drachman Institute is looking for an Associate Research Professor to Facilitate, implement, and evaluate community outreach efforts in our city and region to either obtain answers to community-engaged research questions and/or disseminate information to governments and communities. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Explores and discovers answers to challenging questions affecting our communities through community-engaged research and outreach
- Facilitates, implements, evaluates community outreach efforts in our city and region to either obtain answers to community-engaged research questions and/or disseminate information to governments and communities
- Design, organize, manage and carry out community- engaged research and related deliverables to facilitate completion of Drachman Institute community-focused projects
- Helps put together community- focused deliverables on research finding for government and community distribution - including text, plans, designs, graphics, and analysis
- Provides and participates in presentations of research findings to government and community groups
- Explores and pursues potential funding sources for additional community-engaged research projects and helps to write grants to support work that achieves the Drachman Institute mission as needed
- Has the ability to minimally teach courses if desired and when in line with their community-engaged research and outreach

Minimum Qualifications |
- Masters degree in a related field

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
