Internal Communications Manager, 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The role
As the Global Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to and implementing Palladium's global Internal Communications strategy and function. You will thrive on helping others stay informed and engaged, as well as providing creative oversight of internal campaigns and products.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to a global internal communications strategy and work-plan that improves internal communications in response to the needs of the business
  • Continuously improve and oversee / support the use of all global channels, including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Viva Connections, Viva Glint, Global and Regional Town Halls and employee newsletters
  • Plan, edit, and write content for all channels
  • Lead internal communication change plans for corporate functions and initiatives
  • Equip and enable managers across the company to communicate effectively with their teams, including through monthly talking points and ongoing support
  • Work with senior regional leaders to develop and execute custom internal communication strategies and plans
  • Support an internal messaging strategy that is aligned to, supports, and promotes the organisation's vision, purpose, and brand
  • Drive employee engagement through transparent and effective communications at all levels
  • Measure communications activities to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of channels, systems, and processes
  • Maintain and continuously improve feedback mechanisms to ensure employee voices are factored into business decisions
About you
You will have significant experience creating compelling and influential communications with a direct link to business results, as well as a proven track record of creating and implementing internal communications strategies and plans.
  • Additional key requirements include:
  • Experience communicating with a global workforce
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex concepts to leader and employee audiences
  • Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to align communications with core business strategy
  • Strong community management skills, particularly when it comes to employee audiences
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary communications best practice (experience with Microsoft Viva Suite strongly preferred)
  • Adobe video editing and design skills preferred, but not essential
  • Flawless oral/written communication skills.
