Things to know:

SHIFT TIME: 7:15am - 3:45pm shift hours

In Albuquerque we manufacture underground cable connections and accessories for the electrical distribution grid as well as fault circuit indicators and current sensors. Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect, ground, splice, terminate, and protect underground power cables. Products manufactured in Albuquerque are integral connective pieces of a resilient power grid. Job Functions

• Performs routine maintenance on building.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the production machines.
• Orders supplies, and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Monitor and replace oil absorbent pads on all presses as needed.
• Clean presses as pads are being replaced.
• Monitor level of paint shop waste paint and proper disposal.
• Monitor level of empty Aerosols and dispose of can appropriately.
• Monitor level of used oil and organize removal
• Maintain orderly oil containment and Haz waste areas
• Assist with projects

Education and Experience

• High School Education, GED or Equivalent required
• Previous general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic understanding of Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical
• Experience with forklift operation

Skills and/or Training:

• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Standing throughout the shift and performing other duties on the production floor needing completion
• Able to demonstrate a high level of ownership to assigned tasks
• Working knowledge of components, part numbers and process involved in manufacturing
• Lift up to 40 Pounds
