Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistician to join our team in San Diego, CA. The Logistician will play a critical role in integrating the full spectrum of logistics processes within operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments. This position requires a strategic thinker who can oversee logistics planning, policy development, and execution to ensure effective life cycle support for weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the integrated logistics process across all program phases.
- Develop, implement, and maintain support policies, procedures, and systems to meet operational goals.
- Provide implementation guidance to ensure effective logistics operations.
- Prepare and issue directives to guarantee efficient and compliant logistics support.
- Establish and enforce standards to ensure personnel are properly trained, equipped, and mission ready.
- Lead efforts to develop, initiate, integrate, and manage all logistics actions associated with the life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing logistics operations within military or defense-related environments.
- Knowledge of integrated logistics support (ILS) principles and life cycle management processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
