Overview: The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  1. Strategic HR Management:


    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy.
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership on HR-related issues.


  2. Performance Management:


    • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
    • Guide managers in setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews.


  3. Employee Relations:


    • Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
    • Nurture a positive working environment.


  4. Recruitment and Staffing:


    • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and selection.
    • Ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent.
    • Develop and manage the talent acquisition strategy.


  5. Compliance:


    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
    • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.


  6. Compensation and Benefits:


    • Design and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits plan.
    • Monitor and review compensation and benefits packages to ensure they are competitive.


  7. Payroll Management:


    • Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.


  8. Training and Development:


    • Identify training needs and create or procure professional development programs.
    • Implement training programs to ensure continuous development of employees.


  9. HR Metrics and Reporting:


    • Develop and manage HR metrics and reporting systems to inform business decisions.
    • Provide decision support through HR metrics.


  10. Leadership:


    • Lead and develop HR team members.
    • Act as a consultant to senior management on HR issues.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven working experience as an HR Director or other senior HR role.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.



Work Environment:



  • Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday.
  • Office environment with occasional travel as needed.
