We have partnered with a rapidly growing biotech leader in human tissue regeneration and peripheral nerve repair, and are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager in Vandalia, OH. In this role, you'll provide operational support, leadership, and direction to facility and maintenance teams, while overseeing all aspects of facility operations-including HVAC, electrical, water systems, distribution equipment, buildings, and grounds. You'll also manage key GMP programs such as installation, commissioning, calibration, and lifecycle maintenance, ensuring our cleanroom and critical systems meet the highest standards. This position also supports facility needs at our other U.S. sites, offering a unique opportunity to make a broad impact across the organization.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000/yr.

Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead facility and maintenance teams to meet operational goals and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions to improve processes and asset performance.
  • Oversee CAPA-related facility/maintenance investigations and manage building management systems to maintain critical parameters.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local authorities (FDA, EMA, OSHA, EPA) for regulatory approvals and inspections.
  • Manage contractors, service providers, energy conservation, asset management, and maintenance best practices.
  • Direct preventative maintenance and calibration programs, ensuring timely execution.
  • Represent Facilities/Engineering during inspections, explaining facility design and qualification methods.
  • Write and update SOPs, Change Orders, and Deviations in compliance with regulatory requirements.




Qualifications



  • High school diploma required; degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years in medical or regulated manufacturing operations.
  • Strong budgeting skills and ability to interpret P&IDs, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction drawings.
  • Expertise in MEP and utility systems, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
  • Familiarity with FDA, GMP, and GDP standards; strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership managing teams, contractors, and service providers.
  • Knowledge of cGMP equipment, cleanroom environments, HVAC systems, building automation, and monitoring systems.
  • Preferred: advanced knowledge of contamination control, HEPA filtration, disinfection, gowning, and cleanroom flow.
