The Heat Trace Services team designs and delivers engineered solutions for comprehensive heat tracing systems (www.acc-htds.com).

Applied Controls is a subsidiary of FloWorks International, LLC. which is a privately held company located in Houston, Texas.

The Vice President collaborates closely with fellow leaders to shape and execute business strategies, promote operational excellence, and drive sustainable organizational growth, with a strong bias toward sales leadership and commercial strategy. In addition, they oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with strategic goals and efficient execution across departments. The Vice President will own the P&L, lead cross-functional teams, and serve as the face of the business in your market.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute local sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead and coach the sales team (inside and outside) to drive new business development and account growth.
  • Build strong customer and vendor relationships and actively participate in key account management and deal negotiation.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to refine go-to-market approach.

P&L Ownership

  • Full responsibility for the branch's or region's financial performance, including revenue, margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for margin expansion and cost optimization.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations across sales, service, and supply chain functions.
  • Partner with support functions (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) to align local execution with company-wide objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Talent & Culture

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across all functions.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Build a collaborative, customer-centric culture rooted in performance and trust.

A must...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and budgets effectively
  • Experience in identifying growth opportunities and executing business plan
