How you will make history here...

This position is on the Enabler Accelerator team. It includes responsibilities for executing projects across the entirety of the Meals & Beverage portfolio focusing on optimizing formulas for consumer, manufacturing and cost savings benefits. The scope of the job encompasses the vetting of ideas from conception to successful handoff to Brand PD during the commercialization process.

What you will do...

  • Designs and develops work plans for the appropriate M & B business supporting multiple projects of varying complexity and technical risk.
  • Demonstrate organizational and planning skills.
  • Help in the development and execution of project timelines with Brand PD, which includes contingency planning.
  • Leverage vendor capabilities to expand formulation possibilities and ingredient solves.
  • With guidance, develop prototypes to support concept and ideation exploratory work and continue to refine the prototypes based on consumer feedback.
  • Conduct trials in the Pilot Plant and/or manufacturing facilities to assess manufacturing capability and consumer acceptability where appropriate.
  • Incorporate nutritional and cost parameters into product design.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and agility by being able to adapt quickly to changes in direction.
  • Ability to work with support groups and to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Communicates plans and results to vendors, senior functional staff and/or business teams as required.

What you bring to the table (must have) ...

  • BS in Food Science or a related field.
  • 3 years Food Product Development experience

It would be great to have (nice to have)...

  • Demonstrated skills in commercializing products/processes in the manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and seek creative solutions.
  • Inclination to work in a team environment.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of consumer testing methodologies.
  • Computer skills including basic fluency in Microsoft Office, and database management
  • Travel required (approximately 30%)

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$73,500-$105,700

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
