Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Establish a Comprehensive Risk Management Framework: Design, implement, and maintain a robust risk management framework using proven industry methodologies (e.g., ISO 31000). This includes defining risk categories, establishing a consistent risk assessment process, and creating a risk register.

  • Risk Mitigation and Control: Develop and oversee the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls. This involves working with business unit leaders to create action plans, monitor progress, and ensure controls are effective in reducing risk exposure.
  • Foster a Risk-Aware Culture: Champion a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization by developing and delivering training, coaching employees on risk management best practices, and embedding risk considerations into daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Enable Data-Informed Decision-Making: Provide senior leadership with regular, clear, and concise reports on the organization's risk profile. The reports should highlight key risks, mitigation statuses, and trends, empowering leadership to make strategic decisions on resource allocation and project prioritization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a central point of contact for all risk-related matters. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations) and external partners to ensure a unified and consistent approach to risk management.
