Location- Sibley Memorial Hospital Hours - Monday-Friday 6:30a-3:00p Pay rate- $25 per hour Requirements
- Manage inventory for surgical, OR, and procedural areas, including complex, high-acuity products.
- Maintain perpetual inventory systems including bin configuration, labeling, and hardware functionality.
- Ensure supply availability for scheduled procedures by reviewing upcoming case schedules and collaborating with clinical staff.
- Participate in daily surgical/procedural huddles to identify and resolve supply-related issues.
- Oversee ordering and tracking of special-order (non-stock) supplies, process related SAP transactions.
- Manage inventory location design and adjust par levels based on historical demand and usage trends.
- Remove obsolete or slow-moving inventory in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Track cold-chain products (e.g., tissue implants, blood, frozen items) and maintain compliance with documentation protocols.
- Monitor and log consigned inventory movements and cold-chain deliveries.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to address preference card discrepancies and high return volumes.
- Pick and assemble case carts accurately, ensuring correct items, quantities, and expiration dates.
- Replenish OR cores and exchange carts; ensure readiness of surgical areas.
- Utilize EPIC and SAP systems for scheduling, order tracking, inventory transactions, and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 4 years of supply chain experience required; experience in warehouse, hospital supply, or customer service roles preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including inventory management software and SAP.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 250 lbs.
