Responsibilities
Yarde Metals is looking for a marketing manager to join our Southington, CT team, The marketing manager is responsible for marketing the company's products and services in accordance with corporate objectives. The manager must formulate and execute marketing strategy to reflect changing market conditions.
- Assist president with developing annual marketing plans in support of organizational strategies to drive and increase sales, revenues, and profitability and providing continuous feedback on these initiatives.
- Formulate, recommend, and implement marketing policies and programs within budget.
- Collaborate with managers to identify new market opportunities.
- Create social media posts for the company to promote as needed
- Collaborate with sales to assist with developing and implementing marketing campaigns on targeted areas, product lines, and markets.
- Maintain trade show promotional inventory.
- Design and/or curate specialty items for events.
- Increase awareness of product offerings to increase sales and market penetration.
- Prepare and analyze market and product trends, new product opportunities, potential target accounts, and market share reports in all product categories.
- Research markets and territories to identify product and service opportunities to maximize sales.
- Develop advertising and promotional initiatives to support marketing plans.
- Ensure all literature is updated and designed within company standards.
- Manage company presentation and content of all trade and production events.
- Participate in marketing events and industry trade shows.
- Participate in sales meetings to deliver important marketing information.
- Assist with website development and implementation.
- Facilitate and manage public relations events.
- Continually monitor and control marketing expenses.
- Monitor, report, and develop plans to gauge and improve customer satisfaction.
- Establish appropriate strategic external partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience.
- 6 years of progressive experience directly related to the duties of the position.
- Experience with digital marketing.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and platform skills.
- Strong understanding of budgets, costs, and financial metrics.
- Advanced level Excel skills required for data analysis.
