SUMMARY


The Warehouse Operator is a key team member for Operations, supporting both shipping and receiving goals as well as maintaining a well-organized inventory of supplies for production. Primary tasks include receiving shipments of raw goods, entering this inventory into the software program, using equipment to move goods and products to appropriate warehouse and production floor locations, preparing pallets of products for shipment, and loading product onto trucks for delivery.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Keeps the warehouse area clean and organized while tracking key inventory levels.
  • Receives incoming materials and inspects packaging for any damage.
  • Follows all applicable procedures related to incoming deliveries, rejecting shipments and/or reporting and documenting damage as appropriate.
  • Records receipt of raw goods and other applicable data entry using the Max Inventory Management System.
  • Prepares product pallets for shipment with care and attention to detail, following product protocols with strict adherence.
  • Loads and unloads pallets by operating the forklift in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Provides materials to production in a manner that supports continuous production.
  • Notifies management of low inventory levels of raw materials and supplies.
  • Reports non-conforming parts to management.
  • Accurately and legibly reports all data that must be recorded for quality purposes.
  • Becomes proficient in manufacturing processes as needed.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook, AWAIR and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Good organizational skills and spatial reasoning.
  • Mechanically inclined and capable of operating a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Previous warehousing experience and a willingness to learn multiple operations throughout the production processes.
  • Dedication to high quality and safety standards and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic by arriving at work prior to the start of shift, earnestly maintaining a high level of productivity, executing tasks with care, and taking pride in a job well done.
  • Be willing to work in a very dynamic cultural environment and be a team player.
  • Be able to follow written and verbal directions/instructions.

  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be constantly required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
