This role supports the company's commitment to service excellence by performing calibration, repair, and a wide range of field service activities for instrumentation across flow, pressure, temperature, level, and analytical technologies. Working closely with customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders, this individual ensures reliable instrument performance while developing the skills needed to support diverse technical service needs across both field and regional center environments. It also serves as a development path for future opportunities in multiple service disciplines, providing a strong foundation for career growth within the organization. Which tasks will you perform?
- Perform calibration of flow, pressure, temperature, level, and analytical instrumentation at customer sites and in the regional service center.
- Troubleshoot and repair Endress+Hauser and third-party instruments, working directly with equipment to diagnose issues and replace components.
- Execute a variety of field service requests, including commissioning new instrumentation through startup, testing, and functional verification.
- Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment used for functional, environmental, and lifecycle testing.
- Adjust, align, and calibrate instrument components using precision tools, accurately documenting test results and findings.
- Conduct technical reviews of calibration requests to define execution requirements.
- Maintain and calibrate field service tools and reference standards to ensure accuracy.
- Follow established procedures and documentation requirements to meet ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide on-site service, technical feedback, and support.
- Contribute wherever needed, whether in the field or at a regional center, to support service work and continue building experience.
What do we expect from you? You will have (required):
- Associate's degree in a technical field and less than three years of related experience
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts across multiple service disciplines.
- Travel required: up to 70%.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work onsite at customer facilities and Endress+Hauser regional centers.
You may have (preferred):
- Basic understanding of metrology and fundamental electrical principles, including familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and frequency counters. Exposure to flow, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
- Awareness of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 quality standards, with a willingness to learn related compliance procedures.
- Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.
