job purpose:

The Supply Chain Planner, Co-Manufacturing is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain planning in support of co-manufacturing operations from our fairlife investment in Waco, TX. Key responsibilities of the role will include the creation and development of production planning, milk and materials requirements planning, production capacity planning, as well as finished goods distribution planning for the Waco, TX production facility. This role will work cross functionally with key members of the Co-Manufacturing team, Manufacturing, and the extended Supply Chain Organization (Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Quality etc.). This role will drive value by delivering an efficient and optimal production schedule built to ensure target customer service levels are met and exceeded, while promoting an optimal cost structure of the production network.

responsibilities:



  1. Ownership of the development, communication, conversion and administration of all scheduling which includes:



  1. 13-week production schedule (Co-manufacturer)



  1. Rolling 4-week finite production schedule with a 2-week frozen horizon (Co-manufacturer/distribution/transportation)



  1. Milk processing & inbound milk schedule (Bulk manufacturer/transportation)



  1. Materials management



  1. Cross collaboration and partnership with bulk manufacturing, co-manufacturing, quality, distribution planning, Coca-Cola supply planning, accounting, procurement, and transportation teams to cover & facilitate end-to-end production requirements in a 24/7 facility; utilizing D365 & SAP to manage daily/weekly functions.



  1. Partner with Bulk & Co-manufacturing operations on the successful execution of the production plan.



  1. Leverage influence with Co-manufacturing partner to drive performance towards contractual requirements.



  1. Proactive management and communication of quality concerns or other initiatives impacting the production schedule.



  1. Creation and upkeep of regular report outs (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) to Supply Chain Leadership team on KPI's.



  1. Demonstrate value through leadership, with a detailed and innovative approach along with proactive communications.



  1. Demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgment in all situations.



  1. Bring a curiosity for the details along with a determination to pursue continuous improvement opportunities in alignment to the company's growth objectives.



skills/qualifications required:



  1. Bachelor's Degree & 3-5 years' professional experience or 6-8 years relevant experience in Supply Chain



  1. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.



  1. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required



  1. Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) skills



  1. Self-starter who can handle ambiguity and interact & communicate effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.



  1. Conducts themselves with a high-level of integrity and transparency.



  1. Programming (SQL/Python) and Data Visualization (PowerBI) preferred



  1. Dynamics 365 experience preferred but not required

  1. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, however regular audits of the plant are expected.



  1. No or very limited physical effort required.



  1. Limited exposure to physical risk.



  1. Frequent travel to various sites in other states may be required.

  1. Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.



  1. Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.



  1. Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.



  1. In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
