Job Summary |
A position is available immediately for a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical/computational biophysics and biochemistry in the lab of G. Andres Cisneros in the Departments of Physics, and Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas. We are looking for a creative, independent and highly motivated individual to work on the development of QM/MM software with advanced polarizable potentials, applications of molecular modeling to biomolecular systems and covalent organic frameworks.

Minimum Education and Experience |
Ph.D in a related field. |
Preferred Education and Experience |
- Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Biophysics, Chemistry, Physics or related field.
- A strong background in computational/theoretical molecular simulations (e.g. electronic structure theory, computer simulations, stat. mech.) and programming skills are essential.

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
