THE ROLE:

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of AMD's cutting-edge products to customers worldwide. This logistics-focused position supports multiple global business units across AMD, providing strategic leadership and operational execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As the primary logistics liaison, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and compliance-to drive alignment and execution of logistics strategies. You'll lead efforts to optimize shipment flows, enhance supply chain visibility, and implement process improvements tailored to each business unit's unique needs.

This role also involves close coordination with AMD's international logistics teams, ensuring seamless global operations and regional alignment. With high visibility and impact, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to AMD's continued growth and innovation through logistics excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary logistics liaison for various global AMD business units ensuring alignment across operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with AMD's Asia Logistics team to coordinate international shipments, streamline processes, and drive regional execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements tailored to the unique needs of supported business units, driving efficiency and scalability.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align logistics activities with program timelines, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and proactive issue resolution.
  • Work with procurement teams to influence and integrate logistics priorities into supplier negotiations and sourcing decisions.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to and from AMD facilities and end customers, proactively resolving bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Partner with Global Trade Compliance to ensure all shipments meet regulatory requirements and maintain audit readiness.
  • Develop/maintain dashboards and performance reports to provide actionable insights and enhance operational visibility.
  • Ensure end-to-end shipment and inventory tracking, proactively managing exceptions and communicating status to stakeholders.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships and coordinating complex shipments.
  • Understanding of global trade compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ThoughtSpot).
  • Experience driving and influencing process improvements with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.
