The Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering (bbe.umn.edu) is an internationally renowned academic unit with the core mission of sustainable use of renewable agricultural and natural resources, and protection and enhancement of the environment. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of structured research-related work assignments following established procedures and protocols. Alters the order in which the work is performed, but does not qualitatively change the end result. Isolate, purify, and culture specimens using sterile techniques following standard operation procedures. Prepare media, enzymes, and solutions under sterile conditions in large quantities. Qualifications
BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years; applies knowledge and skill to a recurring task or activity with emphasis typically on precision and timeliness of execution. About the Department
