Responsibilities: Perform a variety of structured research-related work assignments following established procedures and protocols. Alters the order in which the work is performed, but does not qualitatively change the end result. Isolate, purify, and culture specimens using sterile techniques following standard operation procedures.
Keep detailed records of all experiments and procedures in laboratory notebooks, databases, spreadsheets, and web-based applications.

Prepare media, enzymes, and solutions under sterile conditions in large quantities.

BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years; applies knowledge and skill to a recurring task or activity with emphasis typically on precision and timeliness of execution.
Undergraduate degree in Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering or a related field
Experience performing undergraduate research in a Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering lab

Pay Range: $16.54; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
