Summary:

Responsible for the activity of Production Planning Organization, which includes Production Planning, Production Control, and Job Card Clerks. Interacts with Material Management (for parts availability), Manufacturing Engineering (for job card sequence), Warehouse (for part deliveries) and with Production Management to ensure parts are loaded on the production floor with a "Just in Time" methodology to support aircraft schedules.

In accordance to Industrial Engineering principles, prepares, verifies and releases the overall Operational Production Plan for all products lines in the AWPC Plant. Manages any change of the Operational Plan, based on material and manpower resource availability or aircraft priority changes.

Based on the Operational Plan, coordinates the Production Planners to prepare the detailed day to day aircraft activities for the Production Shop Floor technicians and highlights to Upper Management any associated risks.

Coordinates all the Team resources to achieve program schedule expectations by ensuring parts availability and daily aircraft sequences to the shop floor. Coordinates with Production and Program Management for daily rescheduling of aircraft plans according to parts, work instructions, and resources availability. This position represents the main point of contact for Program Management for any Operational Scheduling updates and changes, including retrofits or configuration changes.

Coordinates the Production Control Team, responsible to manage materials out on the shop floor.

Manages the Job Cards Clerks Team, which is responsible to provide job cards to Production and Flight Line.

Responsible to prepare and release all Operational status aircraft reporting and to keep updated all Shop Floor boards KPIs.

In accordance to Industrial Engineering principles, prepares, verifies and releases

the overall Operational Production Plan for all products lines of AWPC Plant

Evaluates and escalates to Upper Management any capacity needs

and associated operational risks.

Responsible for overall coordination of Job Cards Clerks Team, to ensure

job cards are launched according to the Operational Plan.

Coordinates with Warehouse for parts release from stock

to aircraft, according to aircraft daily schedule.

7.

Interacts with the Material Planning group for parts availability,

shortages management for the Shop Floor, and with Production and

Manufacturing Engineering to remove any roadblocks for the Production

activities.

8.

Responsible to prepare and release the aircraft Production Status Reports.

Coordinates with Program Management for any Operational Scheduling update

and change, including retrofits or configuration changes.

Bachelor in Industrial Engineering or equivalent , which might be used towards years of experience.
