Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager

Key Role:

Lead the day-to-day financial operations of a National Security Sector business unit. Provide timely and accurate analysis of period results and impact on forecast and plan. Lead, manage, and train a team of FP&A and project control analysts. Support talent development and create a high performing finance team in support of the business unit. Manage the business unit's indirect rate and labor performance, quarterly bottoms-up forecasting process and EAC submissions, and contract setup and management. Effectively identify, elevate, and develop strategies to minimize financial risks and support the business with identifying and developing strategies to maximize account and company financial KPIs. Partner with account executives to develop annual and multi-year business plans and provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues. Contribute to the annual planning process and continue to incorporate innovative ideas and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with leadership in the accounting and finance function of a high-performing professional services provider

  • Experience leading a finance function of a professional services provider in detailed exposure to best practices with annual planning and financial analysis

  • Experience managing financial operations of a services business

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Oracle or ERP accounting systems

  • Ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a robust team

  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with finance and accounting as a government services provider

  • Experience leading an FP&A function, Sub-Account, or Program Control Lead for a large contract for a government services provider

  • Ability to drill down into the details, when needed

  • Ability to display a boardroom presence

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external constituents

  • Possession of excellent presentation skills

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
