That's why we need you, an experienced DevSecOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of digital citizens and mission workers who need them to drive innovation in the nation.

As a DevSecOps Engineer on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline our software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience in modern, cloud native software development.

You will work in a dynamic, large team environment supporting a large-scale government program using next-gen tools, standards, and processes, including Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Python. You'll design and develop DevOps pipeline to drive rapid delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, or AWS CodeDeploy. You'll use state of the art diagnostic tools and monitoring systems to provide analysis on Web application errors, including the identification and investigation of application behavior through code and log analysis and business logic.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role

  • 2+ years of experience automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in a production environment

  • 2+ years of experience deploying applications into Kubernetes via Helm

  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutionsand creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment

  • Experience with Agile methods and practices

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or Configuration as Code, including Ansible

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in DevOps, or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hiredate

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AI, ML, or LLM implementations

  • Experience with AI, ML, or LLM security such as Hidden Layer

  • Experience with GitOps tooling, including Flux or Argo CD and Kustomize

  • Experience implementing Cloud-Native solutions to accelerate application development

  • Experience with Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID

  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Developer - Associate Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
