Government Accounting Compliance, Vice President Key Role: Ensure strict adherence to government accounting regulations and compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).Oversee all aspects of government accounting compliance, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing regulatory filings, and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risk.Serve as a liaison to the government for issues relating to government accounting compliance and serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of government accounting compliance to leaders across the Booz Allen Hamilton enterprise. Oversee comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to government accounting regulations and standards. Review and monitor policies and practices to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary. Lead the preparation and submission of all government regulatory filings, including incurred cost submissions and cost accounting standards disclosures. Oversee business systems and prepare the business for audits and reviews. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and finance teams, to assess the impact of new regulations and ensure timely compliance. Oversee internal audits and reviews to assess compliance with government accounting regulations and identify areas for improvement. Provide guidance and training to finance and accounting, and business teams on compliance requirements and best practices. Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies and auditors during compliance reviews and audits. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
