Wenger Corporation is seeking a Production Planning Manager to join our team! As a Production Planning Manager, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by creating and maintaining the master production schedule to ensure production is in sufficient quantity to meet delivery requirements per monthly sales forecast; scheduling production throughout the plant in support of the master production schedule; ensuring company inventory and labor policies to facilitate optimal production; and maintaining the highest level of inventory accuracy.

At a minimum, you'll need:



  • High school education plus four (4) years advanced training or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excel, and Word competency
  • ERP management and planning experience
  • Understanding of supply chain management methodologies
  • Uses mathematical techniques to calculate data or solve practical problem



It'd be great if you also have:



  • APICS training certification or working towards certification
  • 4 year college degree in business, supply chain, or other related field As an [job title]
  • Epicor ERP system experience



What you will do on a typical day:



  • Lead planning team to create and maintain the master production schedule.
  • Ensure production is in sufficient quantity to meet delivery requirements per monthly sales forecast & incoming orders
  • Schedule production throughout the plant in support of the master production schedule
  • Ensure raw materials andinventory is sufficient tofacilitate optimal production
  • Maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy
  • Provide direct management and leadership to the production planning team
  • Lead the SIOP meeting and drive discussion of the information; manage meeting action items and follow up
  • Lead annual inventory audit for organization in partnership with manufacturing and the finance team.
  • Manage obsolescence process for manufacturing and purchasing in collaboration with the finance team
  • Manage release of NPD parts and processes, create runoff plans, and ensure process compliance with production release
