Summary Coordinates shift activities and lead the department by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Interpreting company policies to associates and enforcing safety regulations
  • Provide any training that team members need
  • Communicate clear instructions to team members
  • Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the dept. activities (LTs and docks)
  • Lead shift meetings
  • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations. (Production of all activities, receiving, shipping, customer cuts, people management, assigning dock doors to trucks, dividing up work)
  • Signing off on shipments
  • Recommending measures to improve service quality, increasing the department's efficiency, and work crew.
  • All other tasks as assigned



Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
