About the Department

This position will serve as Administrative Support Associate for North Carolina State Men's Basketball Team which competes as a NCAA Division 1 team competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Essential Job Duties
This Assistant Director of Men's Basketball Analytics coordinates, manages and assists with a wide variety of program management functions necessary for the successful day-to-day operations of our Men's Basketball program.
Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with coordinating / organizing practices including ensuring compliance to NCAA rules & regulations, and game day administration.Assist the Director of Operations as the administrative manager to Coaches and other Administrative Personnel.
  • Provide in-game tracking of internal metrics.
  • Provide timely reporting and assistance to the Head Coach Sport Administrator and other Administrators in Athletics as requested and necessary related to the administration of the Men's Basketball program.
  • Prepare game day sheets and scouting reports.
  • Stay up to date on all NCAA, ACC and University policies and regulations that pertain to practice, competition, recruiting, admission and NC State Basketball.

Qualifications






Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Other Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with Division 1 Men's Basketball program.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) are required.
  • Must have ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good organizational skills are a necessity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good telephone etiquette, as well as good interpersonal skills are needed in dealing with people.
  • Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and have some database management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience in Athletics Operations experience.
