Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

Position Summary
The Global Programs department in the Office of Global Engagement provides opportunities for students from international partner universities to study at Temple through programs such as student exchange, inbound study abroad, and dual degree programs. Temple University works with over 200 international partner universities on various cooperative programs.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, the Program Manager will work with colleagues in Global Engagement, Continuing Studies, Education Abroad, and Student Affairs to ensure the successful educational experience of the incoming dual degree, study abroad, and exchange students coming to Temple through our international partnerships. This role is responsible for managing the application process for the inbound study abroad, exchange and the Dual Bachelor's Master's Degree (3+2) programs, providing arrival assistance and orientation for students, developing and implementing regular programming, securing on- or off-campus housing, and providing general academic and student advising during their time at Temple.

The Program Manager will provide consistent communication and outreach to current and prospective Global Programs students and partner universities through email, social media, and mailings. They will assist with the marketing and recruiting for Global Programs, including representing Temple at international recruitment events, conferences, and other special events

The Program Manager will also oversee the Global Living Learning Community, an intercultural living and learning environment in Temple's residence hall.

Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree.
* 3 years of related experience in higher education, student support, study abroad, and/or international programs.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituents.
* Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated strong planning, organizational and follow up skills.
* Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
* Candidate must be willing and able to travel internationally on occasion.
* Ability to work evening and weekend hours during new student orientations, for off campus student activities, when issues arise with the students, and when international visitors are visiting Temple.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
* Experience working with a CRM or email marketing platform, and social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote). The duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
