THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this vital position, you will collaborate with designated staff to deliver a range of services to individuals, which may involve supervising children during office visits, reaching out to those who miss appointments, and assisting with daily activities and home upkeep. Your responsibilities will include supporting case managers and other assigned personnel by communicating individual needs and providing updates on progress and achieved goals.

Additionally, you will help at community outreach events by setting up, organizing, and engaging with attendees. You will greet clients and visitors at the office, assess their needs, and connect them with the appropriate staff when necessary. Professionalism is essential as you handle reception calls, evaluate caller needs, and direct inquiries accordingly.

You will also be tasked with typing letters, reports, monthly expense reports, and other correspondence as required. Furthermore, you will assist with daily record retention by sorting and verifying incoming paperwork, scanning, and electronically filing documents in client electronic records across departments. Maintaining and updating case manager caseload lists in HSS as directed, printing information from client charts upon request, and sorting incoming mail for distribution to staff mailboxes will also be part of your duties.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 1 day per week after successful completion of a probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Beaver Falls. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Beaver County. If no eligible candidates who live within Beaver County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
