Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Oxford, MS

Salary: $77,600 - 98,900
Schedule: 3rd Shift: Monday (Sunday night) - Friday

Focus: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance department within our manufacturing facility on 3rd shift. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and acting as Incident Commander during emergency situations. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership in preventative maintenance, experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Maintenance Supervisor Essential Job Functions:
  • Supervise Maintenance personnel during 3rd shift operations, ensuring optimal team performance and equipment uptime.
  • Lead daily Tier I communication meetings with team members and cross-functional leadership to align priorities and updates.
  • Drive employee engagement and accountability by monitoring performance, managing timecard data entry, and approving hours worked.
  • Serve as Incident Commander during emergency situations, ensuring swift, coordinated responses to protect personnel and assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs, mandatory training, and government contract requirements.
  • Oversee the assignment and completion of work orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution of maintenance tasks, and ensure technicians follow appropriate documentation processes.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across manufacturing and maintenance functions by identifying improvement opportunities.
Maintenance Supervisor Minimum Requirements:
  • To be considered, candidates must meet one of the following minimum requirements:
    • Two-year Industrial Maintenance or equivalent degree with three years of experience in manufacturing troubleshooting and repair or industrial maintenance; OR,
    • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing troubleshooting and repair.
  • Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for maintenance and inventory tracking, (i.e SAP, Maximo, JD Edwards, etc).
  • Two years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
  • Hazwoper certification and Incident Commander training preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean Project Leadership experience preferred.
  • Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
