Description Acara Solutions is seeking a
Project Scheduler to work with our client in Malta, NY.
Pay: $35 - $45/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM, overtime available when required to meet project due dates
Job Type: 12 month contract (potential to extend/covert, depending on business needs)
Overview
The Project Scheduler will create and maintain project schedules supporting Process Tool Installations. The Project Schedulers primary objective is to monitor Tool Install projects to meet business need dates. This person will work with Project Managers and Engineers to define tasks, assign time duration, and track progress. In this role you will use Microsoft Project
Job Description:
- Assist Ramp Schedule Lead
- Develop and sustain Microsoft Project schedules for all tool installations and upgrade
- Follow instructions to duplicate template schedules for new tool addition
- Implement Continuous Improvement actions such as adding line items to schedule templates
- Join field walk inspections, document conditions and publish reports as required
- Lead Project Schedule update meetings with Tool Owners and Project Managers, obtain and record data as required to document status
- Capture/record action items using existing Action Tracker template (Microsoft Excel)
- Publish weekly report highlighting past due and upcoming actions
- Follow up with action owners as needed to drive completion, escalate to manager when needed to highlight late/past due actions

- High School Diploma
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail, able to take directions from multiple people throughout various meetings and work groups
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate in writing and verbally to stakeholders including GF employees, vendors and contractors
- Microsoft skills, able to use Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to create/modify documents. Microsoft Project & Power BI experience is a plus
- Comfortable in a professional setting such as conference rooms and industrial settings such as sub-Fab and Fab areas
