For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Please note this bonus is not available for per-diem positions. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The Patient Service Specialist role ensures patient scheduling and referral needs are met while assisting in the general administrative and patient service needs of the practice.

The outpatient psychiatry clinics at Maine Medical Center in Portland are provided in 2 on-campus buildings across 6 floors and include Pediatric, Geriatric, and Adult Clinics. Approximately 135 providers and care team members work in these clinics and over 40K patient visits occur annually. The culture is one of warmth, supportive collegiality, and serious attention to patient care. The leadership team consists of a Director, Practice Management, and Practice Supervisor.   • Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM
  • Onsite in Portland, ME

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
