Position Title: Quality Control Technician
Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 4:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Quality Control Technician at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Quality Control Technician Responsibilities: - Conduct various product QA activities and examine production defects - Perform quality inspections of finished goods - Carry out first piece, last piece and in-process inspections - Utilize gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specifications - Collaborate with machine operators to make necessary machine adjustments - Perform heat treat sampling preparation and testing Requirements for Quality Control Technician: - High School Diploma or GED - 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or related experience - Able to pass a micrometer and caliper test - Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Experience in a production manufacturing environment - Familiarity with ISO standards rockfordresumes@qpsemployment.com IND017 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
