Role Summary We are seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to support day-to-day operations while full-time staff focus on critical projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and solid experience in network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities * Handle incident response and service requests (queue work) * Perform system maintenance including patches and upgrades * Support small-scale projects (e.g., LP, routing cleanups) * Configure, test, and document network equipment * Assist with firewall settings, access permissions, and data provisioning * Participate in network upgrades and integration testing * Provide technical support and troubleshooting * Maintain documentation for procedures and network topology * Follow IT policies and compliance standards * Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues Required Skills * 5+ years experience in network administration/engineering * Strong knowledge of Cisco, LAN/WAN, routing/switching, firewalls, and telephony * Experience with network troubleshooting, maintenance, and service request handling * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills * Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively Technical Environment * FMC, FTD, ISE, IOS-XE, DNAC * Wireless technologies: RADIUS, LWAPP, Cisco ACS * Wireless security/encryption: 802.11i, WPA/WPA2, 802.1x * Firewalls, routers, switches EVP & Work Environment * Work with a tight-knit network team including a manager and senior engineers * Great company culture with a history of converting contractors to full-time employees * Weekly remote day (Friday) offers flexibility * Opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a growing organization Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
