Pay Range: $105k to $152k per year (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills)

At Kyocera's Crystal R&D Division, we develop and produce high-performance crystalline materials used in demanding, high-precision applications. We're looking for a hands-on Controls Engineer to design, connect, and optimize the systems that power our processes.

What You'll Do:
Design, improve, and troubleshoot control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA)
Develop software to enable communication between:
Equipment
Control systems
Data platforms
Build and maintain SQL databases for sensor and process data
Create and maintain:
Instrumentation specs & data sheets
Control system drawings and documentation
Support equipment selection, vendor integration, and system startup
Lead or support projects from concept through implementation
Partner with R&D and engineering teams to improve:
Process control
System reliability
Data visibility and usability
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years in controls, automation, or industrial systems
Experience with:
PLC / DCS / SCADA platforms
Programming (C, C++, C#, Python, or similar)
SQL or industrial data systems
Strong troubleshooting mindset-comfortable working on real equipment
