Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:

* Run and monitor recurring data update and ingestion jobs.

* Perform basic data editing, formatting, and normalization in SQL-based workflows.

* Support the transformation of raw or external data into usable internal formats.

* Assist in data validation, anomaly tracking, and issue escalation.

* Document standard workflows for future execution and training.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Foundational understanding of data formats and transformations.

* Ability to manipulate and edit structured datasets using SQL or spreadsheet tools.

* Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and cleanliness.

* Strong willingness to learn data tools and internal processes.

* Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.US Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $68,000

About the Role

The Data Engineer I supports the execution of conversions, data hygiene, basic edits and custom data services by performing basic data manipulation, editing, and transformation tasks. This role helps maintain the accuracy and structure of data across critical nonprofit datasets.
