Project Manager II

Brigham and Women's Hospital
United States, Massachusetts, Boston
181 Longwood Avenue (Show on map)
Sep 04, 2025
The Channing Division of Network Medicine (CDNM), home of the Nurses' Health Studies (NHS) at Brigham and Women's Hospital, seeks a Project Manager to support strategic transformation, change management, and activities related to restructuring of the cohorts' research operations. The NHS are among the longest running longitudinal studies of health in women. They helped establish key public health and clinical guidelines in nutrition and in cancer and cardiovascular medicine.
The Project Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and will work closely with the Head of Bioinformatics, Program Director for Cohort Outreach and Partnerships, cohorts' principal investigators, staff, and administrative leaders at the hospital. As part of this transformation team, the project manager will collaborate on further development and implementation of IT restructuring, partnership development, and other elements of a five-year strategic plan. This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure the continued long-term public health impact of these cohorts.
The Project Manager will offer standard project management support mainly focused on implementation of an ongoing plan and including tasks related to implementation, execution, reporting, and evaluation of a transformation plan. In the area of data infrastructure transformation, they will help drive completion of tasks by communicating needs and timelines and following up with stakeholders involved in completing and overseeing work. In the area of partnership development, the goals are to have the cohort participants and researchers better represent the U.S. population. Partnerships are under development with other universities and nursing associations. For both areas, the project manager will help facilitate meetings among stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
