We are looking for talented and passionate Sr. Software Engineer to join our startup-like team to help build highly scalable platforms that enable the simplest online experiences and services for our consumers. Vehicle configurator order team at Tesla powers all public vehicle order flows (reservation, public and inventory order, inventory search and other) as well as multiple internal tools. You will work with skilled software engineers, product managers and application users bringing a vision into reality.


What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications for Tesla's current and next-generation Digital Experience solutions for the vehicle ordering flows in React / Javascript
  • Learn complex systems pertaining to order flow, be responsible for deployment, stability, and usability of applications
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels in the organization and across multiple disciplines
  • Deliver end-to-end, fully functional features - from requirements gathering through production deployment
  • Work with agile requirements
  • Collaborate with backend developers, testers, end users
  • Alignment with Tesla's mission of accelerating world's transition to sustainable energy
  • Ensure high technical standards and code quality
  • Contribute to performance optimization of the existing flows

What You'll Bring
  • 4+ years of experience building applications with React, HTML, CSS
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, ES5/6, HTML, CSS and React framework
  • Strong understanding of component-based development
  • Proficiency with software engineering best practices including writing production quality code, agile development, version control
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

    Expected Compensation
    $164,480 - $246,720/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
