Material Coordinator

As aMaterial Coordinator, you will be a customer service leader in executing our chemical management services, to include receiving, labeling, and stocking point-of-use locations throughout the customer facility. You will manage the customer relationship, understand customer needs, and adjust your site operations to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction and assure proper execution of the contract. This is an onsite position, reporting to the CMS Chemical Manager and sit onsite in Pooler, GA.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the customer regarding inventory and order inquiries for their CMS program with PPG.
• Primary responsibility for the daily email communication with the customer on demand order requests, inventory updates, and estimated delivery times.
• Coordinates with warehouse supervisor and onsite supervisor to ensure alignment on priority deliveries and to follow up on customer requests.
• Proactivity communicates updates and issues to customer and PPG management.
• Reviews inventory for expiring materials and ensures proper disposition.
• Assist with daily and weekly inventory reports to customer using Microsoft Excel.
• Proactively partner with supply chain and procurement for inventory replenishment.
• Assist with material handling duties in the warehouse, to include labeling, order processing, and inventory cycle counting.
• Align with corporate policies, corporate procedures, health requirements, safety requirements, and environmental requirements at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
