In this role, you willbe responsible for drivingsignificant revenue growth fromnet newaccount acquisitions, as well asdriving expansionwithin and across departmentsinexisting customers. The ideal candidate isahighly motivatedandself-directed individual that can createand executeterritory andsales strategy for the region. This role reports to theVPof Sales,State & Local Government.

What You'll Do
  • Proven track record of sales successinthe enterprise software industry
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and executing strong territory management strategy
  • Become a trusted advisor and product expert to all customers regardingnetwork and endpoint security
  • Share customer best practices and acquire customer references
  • Attend onsite customer meetings and events
  • Develop andexecute a territorysales strategyandmanaging a largecustomer base and geography
  • Direct high-touch sales experience tostate and local government accountsof all sizes, managingsometimescomplex, lengthy sales cycles
  • Data mine high potential accounts, identify key accountsandcontacts to engage
  • Follow up on all leads provided through marketing resources in a timely and effective manner
  • Work with channel partners to create leads and close joint business
  • Developandmaintain a high lead conversion rate
  • Maintain a high daily rate oftargeted outbound activity
  • Effective tech stackutilization acrossSalesforce.com, Clari,Groove, Gong,DemandBase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator
  • Build and maintain afour-quarterrolling 3x pipeline, ensuring an accurate forecast
  • Maintainhigh level of customer and activity data
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers
What You'll Bring
  • Togetup to speed quickly in this position,it is important that you have5+ years ofenterprisesoftwaresales experience witha minimum of 3+ yearsin the networking, security or mobilitycategories
  • You must be passionate about selling technology solutions and be able to communicate the value proposition to audiences of varying levels of seniority and technical understanding.
  • Must bementally agile, can process and retain complex information with ease andbe both articulate and engaging
  • Knowledge of Securitysoftware marketas a technology or set of technologies
  • Selling SaaSplatforms,a plus
  • Extremely strong ability to build relationships, prospect and qualify new opportunitiesvia Pipeline Growth activities
  • Proven experience sellingandpresenting tosenior leaders and executives
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels inside the organization
  • Ability to negotiate long-term license agreements directly with customers and transactthrough partners
  • Strong business acumen
  • The ability toover-achieve goals, highly organized with a desire to win, strong drive for results
  • Proven success in State & Local Government marketstrongly preferred
  • Experience selling with & through various state contracts and other government purchase vehicles
  • Experience with MEDDPICC and Force Management methodologies strongly preferred
  • Home office in Mountain West territory strongly preferred AZ, NM, NV, UT, CO, KA, NE, WY,ID, MT
