Senior Software Engineer

Responsible for Performing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Define system requirements, develop system strategy, design prototypes, and provide solutions. Integrate business needs with technology solutions. Design, maintain, and enhance software applications. Create server procedures and functions. Customize and generate reports, upgrade Data Services. Design, develop and manage data definitions, transformations, and various SAP Data Services components. Extensively worked on BODS Tasks like Repository Configuration, Job Server configuration, Local Repository configuration, Central Repository configuration, Job Scheduling and Monitoring. Responsible for building SQL Data warehouse on SAP HANA Database and build data models for Reporting Requirements. Responsible for building Analytical Reports using SAP Business Intelligence tools Including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Tableau Dashboards. Telecommuting permissible from any location within US.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, Information technology, Computer science or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in ETL, BODS, Business Objects, PL/SQL, Power BI in the related role or job offered.

Experience and/or education must include: 

1. Design and implement data integration workflows using SAP Data Services - SAP BODS 3.2, SAP Data Services 4.2/4.3, Oracle, or SQL Server ;    

2. Design and build queries, set up data connections, and create reports using SAP Business Objects - Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Universe Designer (UNV) or Information Design Tool (IDT), Dashboards;

3. Connect various data sources and transform data using Power BI;  

4. Participate in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities on application software using tools such as Miro Board or Lucid Charts;

5. Defining system requirements, developing system strategy, designing prototypes, and providing solutions integrating business needs with technology solutions such as Technical Design Documentation, Micro Board, Dashboard and SAP Data Services ETL;

6. Designing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications using ETL tools such as SAP Data Services 4.3 Designer and Tidal Job Schedulers;

7. Creating server procedures and functions. Customizing and generating reports, upgrading Data Services using tools such as Repository Configurator, Central Configuration Manager, and SAP BO Web Intelligence Reports;

8. Working extensively on BODS Tasks like Repository Configuration, Job Server configuration, Local Repository configuration, Central Repository configuration, Job Scheduling and Monitoring; and

9. Building Analytical Reports using SAP Business Intelligence tools including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Tableau Dashboards.
