As a Program Director of special projects, you will provide leadership in the implementation of innovation projects related to mentorship, employment and mental weel-being for youth who have experienced homelessness. This position will work collaboratively to create, implement and evaluate special projects and assist with program compliance, staffing and focused youth activities. Supervision of a Volunteer Coordinator and Case Manager are also key responsibilities. Organization, collaboration and strong leadership skills are a must.

Starting salary range of $73k-$82k, based upon experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • MSW licensed social worker or Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Five years of experience as a manager or supervisor.
  • Excellent writing skills are necessary as well as the ability to speak publicly to promote the services.
  • Knowledge regarding homeless population and housing programs strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge regarding licensed residential programs strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization and interpersonal skills required.
  • Knowledge/experience with budgets and financial management preferred.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs to execute job duties.
  • Detail oriented and data-driven analysis experience preferred.
  • Service line knowledge specific to the populations served.
