Pay Rate: $55,824 - $122,686

Staff Engineer

Delve Underground has an opening for a Staff Engineer with a minimum of 0 to 4 years of relevant experience to join our Nashville team delivering tunnels, underground facilities, and water infrastructure projects. The candidate will have experience in one or more of the following subject matters: earthwork, site layout design, and stormwater management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform review of site layout design, topographic grading, utility design, and stormwater management in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
• Develop technical memorandums based on review of contract drawings and specifications
• Review of contractor submittals and RFI's
• Work on a variety of office and field assignments
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed
• Design reviews to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred
• Experience in one or more subject areas: highway design, traffic engineering, site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design Strong experience with conducting hydrological and hydraulic analysis
• Municipal Engineering experience preferred
• Strong experience with conducting hydrological and hydraulic analysis
• Ability to manage a number of concurrent assignments and priorities
