The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Supervisor of the Physical Therapy Department manages the day-to-day operation of the PT Outpatient Adult Rehabilitation Department including but not limited to data collection, payroll, updating policy and procedures, assist in budget development, and identifies and evaluates people with impairments, disabilities or handicaps in the area of specialization. Physical Therapist provide services to test, prevent diagnose, evaluate functional disorders. Physical Therapist provides a comprehensive prevention, rehabilitation/habituation programs to address impairments, disabilities and or handicap issues in accordance with the patients age neonates through geriatrics. The supervisor recruits and supervises therapist staff as well as CPARs working in the department. Develops and implements new programs and services for this department. The supervisor and or appointed staff have an overlapping responsibility to provide oversight to the clinical coordinators/senior therapist in the other specialty areas in the department; providing both clinical and administrative service to both patients and physicians of these programs and provides documentation of staff meeting minutes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • State of NJ Licensed Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification

  • Days
