Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary
Within Digital Business Services, we are looking for motivated and target oriented individuals willing to start their career in a
challenging environment. Your responsibilities will be impactful, and will give you a good overview of the business, with
mentoring by and collaboration with local and global management. The assignments within the program will be tailored to you,
depending on your skill set and your preferences.
The Digital Talent Program is an 18-month rotational program that introduces
recent college graduates with Information Technology, Engineering, Material Science or Business Administration degrees to
METTLER TOLEDO. Travel requirements for this position are typically 10% - 20%, and will require the ability to travel domestically within the U.S. and internationally. Travel requirements are dependent on the rotational assignment and needs of that department. One or more assignments potentially may be international.
This structured program gives participants experience in several different Digital Business Service areas and
functions such as traditional Sales and Marketing, while also exploring interests in MT's Software Development Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Unit 1: Digital Business Services - 4 assignments
Digital Business Services is a business focused and modern digitalization organization in METTLER TOLEDO that covers
everything from infrastructure, applications, data and reporting to projects such as SAP Unit process standardization, M365
implementation and infrastructure upgrades. You will have four assignments in various departments such as Business
Applications, Business Technology, Business Transformation, Data Governance, Digital Workplace Solutions, Enterprise
Reporting & Analytics, and Information Security & Governance.
  • Design processes and build webpages for providing business units globally with data quality reports.
  • Review data policies, business rules (SharePoint), and migration checks for alignment and add additional checks to
    enhance data quality.
  • Design and coordinate build/rollout of updated SAP Data Request Process in SNow to include additional processes and
    improve workflow efficiency.
  • Develop model using SAP data to forecast weight and/or volume of product shipped between key locations; Data
    sources could include historical, current, and forecasted data in SAP; Determine the appropriate inputs and outputs.
  • Develop plan to implement report using Excel template, HANA report, etc.
  • Design software tools that could be used to compare the features of competitive products.
  • Partner on the development of a software tool for calibration reporting. This includes requirements documentation,
    software testing and supporting field users during a beta test phase.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the development of a new terminal for the Industrial market. This includes
    hardware and software system testing, application development and technical writing.
Unit 2: Marketing Organization - 1 assignment
Our various Marketing Organizations serve the North America market with all METTLER TOLEDO products and services. There are
interesting departments to choose like Telesales, Inside Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Experience, or our Service
Department.
  • Provide marketing analysis on new products/service offerings for regulated applications. This includes pushing the new
    product towards launch by developing marketing messages, developing and presenting a training class and introducing
    the concept to sales and service employees.
  • Research and develop content for segment marketing tools and customer visits.
  • Improving sales force efficiency by providing quotes to customers and other administrative responsibilities associated
    with the sales of products and services.
  • Evaluating customer surveys to determine the top improvement areas for the service delivery model.
Unit 3: Software Development Center - 1 assignment
Software Development Center is a professional software development center, which supports business units in implementing
and supporting their Software needs in accordance with METTLER TOLEDO Software Strategies. Possible working assignments
are in Testing, Software Development, Product Management, or Project Management.
What You Need to Succeed
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, an Engineering discipline, or Business Administration is required.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role from a student-led organization, internships or direct work experience.
  • Previous and/or current involvement in community service or other volunteer organizations.
  • Proficient-to-advanced M/S Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a "can do" attitude, and a strong interest for technology and digital solutions
  • Excellent follow-through, ability to meet deadlines, decision-making and multi-tasking skills, and excellent
  • communication skills.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
